Marketing: Leveling the Playing Field
You know, there are two kinds of Registrars : those keen to succeed and those who are not. The rest is the registry’s job, so what should we do to ensure local Registrars have a fair chance when internationals are in town? For second place is the first loser in the competition, you know.

They say, prohibition didn't work in the Garden of Eden - Adam ate the apple anyway. So, maybe it is time to talk about best practices for managing lists when it comes to choosing names to block, transparency and release practices instead?

  • Santanu Acharya, NIXI

Rephrasing Jeff Bezos, a brand for a registry is like a reputation for a person. You earn reputation by trying to do hard things well.
So, tell us more about ways you are building your registry’s brand and what the elements of good branding for your ccTLD are.

Moderator: Anil Kumar Jain, NIXI
  • Kelly Hardy, CentralNic

The #1 punk rock band’s iconic anthem goes,
There's unlimited supply/And there is no reason why/I tell you it was all a frame/They only did it 'cos of fame And our updated refrain line goes, N-o-o-o?! EAI, EAI, EAI…….
And the anthem goes, Don't judge a book just by the cover/Unless you cover just another/And blind acceptance is a sign/Of stupid fools who stand in line
